Background

The straightening of sheet metal and welded assemblies is a crucial process in production in which material deformations that occur during production must be corrected. In practice, these processes are often time-consuming and require a high degree of precision. Despite existing technologies, there is still room for improvement in terms of efficiency, automation and flexibility. In addition, the handling of large, unwieldy components is often associated with an increased risk of accidents and injuries. The increasing demands on productivity and quality in the industry require an innovative solution that not only increases processing speed and precision, but also improves employee safety through ergonomic and automated handling of complex components.

Project objective

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative straightening press that enables a significant increase in productivity and precision when straightening sheet metal and welded assemblies. The use of modern automation and sensor technologies is intended to speed up the straightening process and at the same time improve flexibility for different material types and thicknesses. The new straightening press is designed to achieve greater efficiency, minimize manual intervention and increase the quality of the manufactured components, while reducing the risk of accidents caused by handling bulky components.
